Welcome to Gladiator Lux 2012 - Peace for the World

The Christmas days are there once again so lets play the Gladiator tournament series.

This peace making rumble starts either off in World on Fire - South East Asia, U.S.A. War Zone, Medieval Europe, Falklands War, Australis Maximus, Antarctica and invaded Africa.

At December 25th, 22:00 CET (21:00 UTC, 16:00 EST), the qualification tournaments start. They will last for 48 Hours.

Training for these maps will be held starting with December 24th, 22:00 CET.

§1 - How to join the tournament

Online-Registration:
- As long as there are less than 10 Registrations - you are added automatically while playing.
- Playing with different Names is not allowed in any games of these tournament and will result in complete disqualification.
- Playing in different Qualifications groups is not allowed as well. Select one Group and stay there.

§2 - Tournament behaviour

If the tourney is attended by a Game Master (GM), it is not allowed to chat in the Chat-Room unless the GM asks you, violation of this Rule results in immediate disqualification and ban out of the tournament room of the speaking person.

Since any score counts, there is no bots first rule.

§3 - Games

The games may take part in a single or in multiple Rooms for each Tournament. Stay tuned for further informations.

§4 - Qualification groups

The game master (GM) set up seven qualification groups. These groups have an open state, i.E. you can subscribe in one or more of these Groups. Maximum of players being in a group is 10. If a group reaches 10 Members, it automatically goes to the closed state, i.E. you cannot subscribe any more. Having subscribed to a group there is no way to change the subscription. You must not play in different Qualification Groups.

§4.1 - Scoring

For each game with 4, 5 or 6 human players you will get a score in the following manner:

Only the best 10 Games count for your qualification score, but the total number of games will be subtracted, so it might be even better to stop playing at a certain time. Just the total Sum of all Points score in the Shootout games, see below. If total score of two players is equal then the numer of wins decide. If still equal, the number of second places and so on. If still equal, all equal players are qualified for the Tournament Of The Best - Shoot out.

§4.2 - Win

A Tournament is won by the player with the highest score, the best five players get qualified to the Tournament Of The Best - Shoot out. All other players may play in the Open Shoot Out Tournament.

§4.3 - Decision game

If a decision game is to be played for Qualification purposes, it starts at December 28th, 00:00 CET (i.e. December 27th, 23:00 UTC; December 27th 18:00 EST). The winner gets both medal and qualification.

§5 - Tournament Of The Best - Shoot out

There are 35 qualified players now. These players play a shoot out game. The shoot out game starts at December 28th, 01:00 CET (i.e. December 28th, 00:00 UTC; December 27th 19:00 EST) and lasts for 24 hours. Maps will change every 60 Minutes but a map change won't interrupt a running game.

§5.1 - Games

All games with more or equal to 3 human players count. The player who is the first killed human in a game gets eliminated from the tournament. Playing is still possible then, but will not score any more.

§5.2 - Scoring

The scoring is as it was in the Qualification round (see §4.1), but only the total score counts, with no modifications. If there is more than one player left at the tournaments end, the highest score wins. If the score is equal somewhere in the first three places, all equal players get the same award.

§6 - Open Shoot Out Tournament

All unqualified players may play a shoot out game. The shoot out game starts at December 28th, 01:00 CET (i.e. December 28th, 00:00 UTC; December 27th 19:00 EST) and lasts for 24 hours. Maps will change every 60 Minutes but a map change won't interrupt a running game.

§6.1 - Games

All games do count, even 2 human player games. The player who gets killed first in a game is eliminated from the tournament. Playing is still possible then, but will not score any more.

§7 - Result pages

During the tournament series the scores of all participating players are calculated and are shown on the tournament page. This way you can see if it is good idea to play more games in the tournament or not.

§8 - Awards

(1) You get an award as Winner of a qualification group (Icon with a red spotlight, 6 Awards).
(2) You get an award as second of a qualification group (Icon with a blue spotlight, 6 Awards).
(3) You get an award as a qualified player for the Tournament Of The Best - Shoot out (Icon with a green spotlight, 18 Awards).
(4) The winner of the Open Shoot Out Tournament gets the Icon with a red spotlight (1 Award).
(5) The second of the Open Shoot Out Tournament gets the Icon with a blue spotlight (1 Award).
(6) The Positions 3-6 of the Open Shoot Out Tournament gets the Icon with a green spotlight (4 Awards).
(7) The winners of the Tournament Of The Best get the Icon with a golden spotlight (1 Award).
(8) The second of the Tournament Of The Best get the Icon with a silver spotlight (1 Award).
(9) The Positions 3-6 of the Tournament Of The Best get the Icon with a bronze spotlight (4 Awards).
